Triple A Angkor Adventure – Private Day Tour
A full day private tour exploring the temples of Angkor with our expert guide.
Join us for a memorable day exploring the breathtaking temples of Angkor.
We travel the local way, by tuk-tuk (the famous Asian tricycle consisting of a motorcycle and a cabin) and you will be accompanied by our experienced and well informed English speaking guide who will bring the stories behind the temples to life.
We set off at 8.30 for the short ride from Siem reap to the temples of Angkor. First stop is one of the most impressive monuments in the world, Angkor Wat, built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II. An architectural masterpiece, Angkor wat took more than 30 years to build.
A short hop in your tuk tuk will bring you to Bayon, otherwise known as “the one with the faces” its 54 four-headed Buddha statues are one of the most impressive sights of the temple complex. Then we explore the famous Terrace of the Leper King and the Terrace of the Elephants.
At lunch we stop in a great little restaurant for some tasty local food. Then we hop back in our tuk tuk and go on to Ta Prom, one of the most beautiful temples of the complex. Sometimes called the tomb raider temple, Ta Prom has been reclaimed by the jungle leaving the trees intertwined with the stonework.
Next stop is Prei Rup temple, where we witness the sun set into the jungles and rice paddies of the Cambodian countryside below.
You will return to your hotel at approximately 06.30pm.
